Avant has been a Grand Forks destination for beauty and wellness since 2003, when Owner and CEO Anne Zimmer opened the first location downtown.
A second followed in 2005, then the Avant Spa in 2015. In July 2025, Anne brought all three teams together under one roof at Franklin on 4th, creating a flagship space that blends luxury and innovation.
Avant specializes in Aveda custom colors, signature cuts and styles for men and women, BELLAMI hair extensions, and Brazilian Blowout treatments.
The Avant Spa offers an extensive menu, including Naturopathica Enhanced Facials, GLO2 and GLO Radio Frequency Facials, Signature and Naturopathica Massage Therapy, body waxing, lash extensions, and Celluma light therapy to enhance their treatments.
With a mission centered on guidance, inspiration, and respect, Avant pairs planet-friendly products with advanced technology. Anne and her team are devoted to delivering a “Signature” customer experience, making every guest feel seen, renewed, and celebrated.
