Family owned for three generations, Hugo’s was founded by Hugo and Dorothy Magnuson in 1939 and led by Curt Magnuson for many years. Hugo’s is now proudly led by Kristi Magnuson Nelson, Curt’s daughter and Hugo and Dorothy’s granddaughter.
Hugo’s Wine & Spirits, with several Grand Forks and East Grand Forks locations, offers a wide selection of beer, wine, and spirits. From beer caves stocked with chilled lagers to a monthly wine club, it’s the go-to destination for gatherings, holidays, and everyday enjoyment.
