The Golf Center has been a cornerstone of the region’s golf community since its founding in 1991 by four Grand Forks teachers.
Today, the business is owned by Brian and Mary Leach. A Grand Forks native and UND graduate, Brian began working at the store in 1995 and has guided its growth from its Columbia Mall days to its current location on South Washington.
The expert team includes longtime Master Club Fitter Nate Bertram, who joined in 2002, and newest full-time staff member Jeff Kamedula, who also provides lessons.
Supported by a rotating group of part-time employees, The Golf Center has earned recognition as one of Golf Digest’s Top 100 Fitters in America, as well as honors from Callaway, Ping, and Mizuno. Offering all major brands, repairs, regripping, and unmatched custom club fitting, The Golf Center delivers exceptional service to golfers across the region.
