The YMCA has been improving the health and well-being of citizens in the Grand Forks area since 1886.
Today, the Altru Family YMCA, a volunteer-led nonprofit organization, offers programs and services for people of all ages in a beautiful full-service facility with a state-of-the-art fitness center, swimming pool, gymnasiums, racquetball and pickleball courts, and more.
YMCA youth, adult, senior, and family programs reflect the organization’s areas of focus: Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.
Offerings like youth sports, swim lessons, and adult fitness help foster connections, develop skills, improve wellness, and build confidence.
And, the YMCA Educational Center provides joyful and purposeful care and learning for children aged infant through preschool.
Membership options include Nationwide Membership (which allows Y members to visit other YMCAs in the U.S. at no extra charge), plus membership privileges at Choice Health and Fitness! Financial scholarship assistance is also available.
